L’Oreal Paris is a huge beauty company that has been in business for more than 100 years, allowing it to become a staple in the cosmetic and fashion industries. Dan Bethelmy-Rada has been working with the company for more than 15 years today and he is also the youngest General Manager the company has ever had at the age of 40.
Dan Bethelmy-Rada is most well-known for his ability to innovate and bring marketing to a whole new level for L’Oreal. In a recent interview with Ideamensch, Dan spoke about what it meant to be a successful leaderc of a major brand as well as the difficulty in managing a successful career and family at the same time.
As a boy, Dan Bethelmy-Rada did quite a bit of international traveling, from Venezuela where he was born to the United States, to Paris by the age of 16. He was a participant of the AFS-USA, which was a program that had him studying abroad as part of a learning program that was ultimately a major change for Dan’s life. After completing his education at Sorbonne University in International Business, Dan was focused on working at a major international brand.
By 2002, Dan Bethelmy-Rada found a career working with L’Oreal when he completed his Master’s in Business Administration from ESSEC. He was able to quickly build a reputation for his diligence and within his first year at the company, Dan Bethelmy-Rada was moved up to a Product Manager.
